LEHRMAN was born and raised in Bayside, New York and has spent her entire professional career as a trial attorney. In 1978, she graduated from Oberlin College with a B.A. In 1983, she graduated within the top of her class from Boston College Law School in Newton, Massachusetts. Following graduation she was a judicial law clerk to the Judges of the Superior Court of Massachusetts where she learned fundamentals of trial court advocacy. She traveled throughout the state, working in both rural and urban courthouses on a month by month assignment. In 1984, she joined a large law firm in Boston, Massachusetts where she practiced products liability litigation as part of a national team in a major products liability litigation. She relocated to Los Angeles in 1985 and joined the litigation specialty firm that was the predecessor of Crowe & Rogan LLP. She has received specialized training in the art of advocacy in products liability litigation within the Firm since 1985 where she has pursued and developed an active trial practice. She has continued to specialize in representing manufacturers in complex product liability litigation. Her practice includes automotive manufacturers' defense of federal and state consumer warranty and product liability claims. She has had national assignments managing consumer warranty litigation for automotive distributors/manufacturers. She is a member of the State Bars of California, New York and Massachusetts. She is an active member of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation Product Liability Committee and The Woman Advocate Committee. Most recently, she will be participating as Program Co-Chair for the Women in Products Liability regional meeting to be held this year in New York and Los Angeles.
